The IA4220 and IA4320 chipset is a fully integrated wireless data
solution, with all RF components on-chip to ensure the smallest
possible BOM, and the preservation of valuable PCB real estate.
Only an external crystal is required. Both RF ICs have fast-settling,
programmable, high resolution PLL synthesizers for easy RF design,
and can make use of fast frequency-hopping to counter the effects
of multipath fading and interference from other transmitters, ensuring
highly secure and robust wireless links. Transmitter features such
as automatic antenna tuning reduce costs and simplify design by
eliminating the need for expensive production adjustments, as well
as the components necessary to make the adjustments. The availability
of an EEPROM mode makes the advantages of EZRadio available for
less sophisticated applications that can still benefit from the
inclusion of smarter RF. |
